2012-2017

My sister, Lynn Padwee, who is an excellent photographer in her own right, allowed me to manipulate one of her photos. This collaboration became "After Escher" (2014).

Walkers Series, 2012

While in London in the Fall of 2012, I spent time in the Victoria and Albert Museum taking photos--looking down from the sixth floor--of people entering and leaving the building.

Photo Constructions, 2006-

My photo constructions were digitally created/edited with the aid of a computer and a photo editing program. Some of the photos in the Reflections series and others overlap this series. The degree of editing and/or manipulation can be minimal, as in Red Hook Triptych and A Foggy Day, or more severe, as in Steeplechase in Winter.

When I was a child, before there was a New York Thruway, my parents would stop here on the way to the Catskills.
By 2012 it had died and was closed, possibly forever.
But once it was the apple of my eye and served great burgers and fries. At least it seemed that way to a hungry boy.
